to tell you I love you as I share in your pain
your son seemed so wise beyond his years
your love for him still brings me to tears
the world will miss Daniel and though it is sad
he is a reflection of his amazing dad
my wish is that you always will continue to be
the strong caring leader in our community
I feel your loss and share in your grief
if we were a tribe you would be our chief
with his smile he clearly stood out in a crowd
if he were my son I would be so proud
this young man’s short visit to earth will always remain
